We keep cookies to the minimum. Nothing that tracks you runs until you say yes.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. Along with similar technologies like local storage, they let a site remember things between visits - such as keeping you signed in. This policy covers how MVRCK uses them and the choices you have.

The short version

When you first visit MVRCK we ask one clear question: accept, or decline. Until you accept, no analytics or marketing cookies are set - our analytics SDK loads in an opted-out state and captures nothing. If you decline, it stays off. Under "Customise" you can accept analytics without marketing. Both options are presented equally, and you can change your mind at any time.

Essential

A small amount of browser storage is needed to sign you in, keep you logged in, and remember your cookie choice. The service can't work without these, so under the GDPR and the Swedish Electronic Communications Act they don't require consent.

Analytics (consent required)

If you accept, we use PostHog to understand how MVRCK is used - which features help, where people get stuck - so we can make it better. It's privacy-focused product analytics, self-hosted on our own domain, and it does nothing until you opt in.

Marketing (consent required)

If you accept marketing, we measure which ads bring people to MVRCK. When you arrive from an ad, the platform adds a click identifier to the link, and we record it so a later sign-up can be attributed to that ad. To match it, we share a limited set of data - the click identifier and a one-way hashed version of your email address - with the advertising platform that served it, currently Meta. We never share your email in readable form, and none of this runs unless you turn marketing on.

Affiliate (set by retailers)

When you click a link to buy an item, the retailer or their affiliate network may set a cookie to attribute the sale. That happens on their site, under their own policy - see our Affiliate Disclosure.

Managing your choice

Your decision is stored on your own device. To be asked again, clear MVRCK's site data in your browser settings and reload - the banner will reappear. You can also block or delete cookies entirely in your browser's privacy settings; essential features may degrade if you do.

Changes

If we change how we use cookies we'll update this page and the date above, and re-ask for consent where the law requires it. Questions? team@mvrck.studio.
